A supplier of large machine tools has appointed DLP to supervise a sophisticated CAD/PDM system landscape.
The duties of the interim CAD/PDM administrator include:
- Supervising more than 30 CAD users
- Drawing up and continuing the development of CAD guidelines for the work with external designers
- Practical support for employees using the SolidWorks 3D CAD system
- Establishing a standardised design manual
- Expanding the CAD variant design/automation
- Carrying out bespoke training courses for users
- Selecting and introducing an efficient PDM system
