Situation:
A self-developed Excel software solution was reaching its limits. The growing project business in the oil & gas sector and, in particular, the individual requirements of international groups and customers for "project-specific documentation" with tight deadlines had to be mapped quickly and cost-effectively with the help of modern standards.

Task:

  • Recording the requirements for document structures including document classification, change management, complex and highly project-specific reporting structures, time/expense recording, deadline resubmission system, etc.
  • Realization of the solution based on the ERP standard (SAP)
  • Creation of easy-to-understand and customized training documents including training of key users

Result:

  • Productive DMS solution within 3 months
  • Smooth start initially with the new projects in the new environment
  • Use of standard ERP functionalities from the authorization concept to document classification or the complete change management system
