Situation:
Ship data (hull, deck, etc.) is largely only available as 2D drawings, as is crane data or CAD data of the cargo. Collision checks are therefore still largely carried out in two dimensions. Unrecognized collisions or critical loading situations can lead to problems in port, expensive lay times and postponements.
