A well-known manufacturer of food processing machines and systems is continuing the systematic modularization and standardization of its machines with the support of DLP Engineers. The aim is to include all disciplines in the standardization process, starting with sales, plant planning, mechanical CAD, electrical CAD, control/automation and controlling. The next step is to select and implement a suitable CPQ system that clearly differentiates between the agreed standard modular system and “specials”.
