We are looking for you to strengthen our Configuration Team:

Your tasks:

• Analysis and conception of the respective
  • customer products (definition of product portfolio, external/internal variance, product architecture / structure / parts list structures, standardization / optimization approaches, etc.).
  • Organization / customer process chains (focus on sales, design, development / processing, interface AV / production etc.)
  • Customer IT architecture together with the project team and the individual software partners of our customer)
• Developing specific optimization approaches and action requirements in relation to the product, process and / or IT area
• Proactive technical / content management of the individual sub-projects (e.g. standardization, product reengineering, master data cleansing, CAD, PDM, CPQ, ERP, setting up configuration environment, etc.) in line with and together with our customer's project manager
• Organization and implementation of regular coordination meetings with the respective teams, tailored to technical and content-related issues
• Ongoing review of the set project goals, deadlines and costs
• Documentation of specifications and coordination of interim results with the project team
• Creation of concepts / texts and meaningful presentations / slides
• Organization and implementation of steering committees together with the stakeholders or the management / board of our client.

Your profile:

• Technical degree (mechanical engineering or similar)
• High social competence, strong communication skills, assertive and assertive, sense for realistic implementation steps, reliable partner of our customer
• Several years of practical project and implementation experience, e.g. in the field of variant management, PDM/PLM, product reengineering, product configuration or comparable topics in medium-sized companies in the mechanical and plant engineering sector - preferably with an engineer-to-order component
• Knowledge of the internal processes of a mechanical engineering company (sales, design, purchasing, AV / production etc.)
• Practical project experience in connection with the introduction of e.g. product configurators, CAD, PDM, CPQ, CAD or ERP systems
• Confident handling of MS Office tools.
